Nanoarchitectonics at surfaces using multifunctional initiators of surface-initiated radical polymerization for fabrication of the nanocomposites

• Nanoarchitectonics approach to synthesize functionalized CNTs was proposed. were using new multifunctional initiators. Nanocomposites with MPIs fabricated. New nanocomposites possessed improved physic-mechanical properties. In this work, the nanoarchitectonics a functional material certain configurations and hierarchical motifs of initiators surface-initiated radical polymerization (MPIs) on surface multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) realized. The presence covalently-linked surfaces amine MWCNTs confirmed by Raman spectroscopy thermal analysis. polybutylene terephthalate – poly(tetramethylene oxide) (PBT/PTMO) modified show higher values Young's modulus, elongation at break, crystallization temperature in comparison non-modified ones.
